Info on Labeling for Food Sales at the Mini Art Mart

We've had a few questions about packaging and labeling requirements for artisan foods (made out of home-based kitchens).  Quality, safety and deliciousness are what we care about, and our vendors do too. 

All participants for the Mini-Art Mart that will be selling food products as gifts and specialty items must comply with these rules.  Here's the links with the basic information from the state of Ohio if you need a refresher on how to prep and label your items:

The Mini Art Mart is a pop-up store event featuring homemade and handmade items (art, food, crafts, and more) to be held in Madisonville Dec. 15th, from 1-5 pm at Starfire, 5030 Oaklawn, Cincinnati, 45227 (just a block north of Madison Road.)

We invite neighborhood and local artisans to participate and offer their creative products for our first annual holiday pop-up shop sale.
